The Troop of Himilcon presents its magazine for 16 years in the days before the festivities of Carthaginians and Romans (11/09/2017)

The Troop of Himilcón presented this Sunday, September 10, the magazine that bears the name of the Carthaginian general and reaches its 16th edition this year, as well as its Literary Competition of Carthaginians and Romans, in an act that took place in the Punic Wall and in which the Councilor of Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, was in charge of presenting the magazine on this occasion.

In addition, were present diverse personalities like the vice-president of the Federation of Troops and Legions, Ramón Jerez;

the president of the troop, Francisco Avilés;

representatives of the Carthaginian Council and the Roman Senate;

and the personages of the parties, Aníbal, Himilce, Scipio and Emilia Paula.

In addition, and in representation of the Tropa participated the General Himilcón, interpreted by Joaquin Roca.

Thus, the volume includes texts of the main characters of the parties, representatives of the Federation, the troop and authorities, as well as the texts winning the literary contest of the previous year.

After the presentation of the magazine, which could be purchased for free during the act of this Sunday and that will be distributed until stocks last during the General Parade of the troops and legions of 23 September, gave way to the awards ceremony to the winners of the ninth edition of the literary contest organized by the troop.

The contest consists of two categories, prose and poetry, which have three winners each, who received their accreditation trophies next to the Punic Wall.
