Cartagena deploys a special speed control campaign until next Sunday (21/08/2017)

The Local Police of Cartagena, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic, deployed between Monday 21 and Sunday 27 August a special campaign to monitor and control speed limits in vehicles, which will cover the main access roads of the city And its adjacent neighborhoods, as well as coastal areas of the municipality.

Thus, explained the Councilor for Citizen Safety, Francisco Aznar, this initiative aims to control speed limits in urban areas through different controls in these areas so that drivers "respect the speed and do not exceed their limits ".

It seeks, in the words of the mayor responsible for Citizen Security, "not having to mourn any accident of any citizen".

At the same time, Aznar recalled that last week was carried out another campaign together with Local Police in which blood alcohol tests were carried out in various parts of Cartagena.
