The Torre de Nicolas Perez will live a holiday weekend (18/08/2017)

The Tower of Nicolás Pérez pertaining to the deputation of Perín will live this weekend its patron saint celebrations in honor to San Nicholas.

The village of dispersed villages, located in the vicinity of Cuesta del Cedacero, will begin the festivities program on Friday, August 18 with a great dance, starting at 11:00 pm, in the esplanade of the restaurant La Vieja Hacienda, enlivened By the group Dueto.

On Saturday, August 19, from 19 hours, will take place the transfer of San Nicolás, from its enclave to the festive grounds of La Vieja Hacienda, where a mass will be celebrated, with the performance of the rondalla de Isla Plana, and There will be a procession back to the sanctuary, located on the Way of the Viper, at the foot of Peñas Blancas.

Already at night, at 11 pm, the second deputy mayor and councilor of the Decentralization, Good Government and Celebrations Area, Juan Pedro Torralba, will pronounce the proclamation of the festivities, followed by a tasting of gastronomic products, sweepstakes and a Dance enlivened by the Nerea group.

On Sunday, August 20, activities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a meeting of classic passenger cars and motorcycles, manufactured before 1980, with prizes for the oldest vehicle and the oldest driver.

After a lunch of coexistence between the neighbors and the recognition to the partner honored by the Association of Neighbors, at 18:30 hours will be held the first competition to launch almonds to the canopy.
