La Puebla, La Aparecida and Los Beatos renew their road signs (20/07/2017)

The Department of Decentralization and Citizen Participation has carried out a study of repainting horizontal road signage in the Lentiscar deputation in order to improve traffic management and provide greater safety to both pedestrians and drivers.

Juan Pedro Torralba, Councilor for Decentralization, said that this project has been carried out in a coordinated way with the Provincial Board of the deputation that, after meeting with its president, Juan Manuel Ayaso, established as a priority the repainting of road signs.

The study prior to this project detected the need to develop 11 repainting performances in the three populations.

In La Aparecida, three pedestrian crossings will be repainted and the triangles of the access ramps of San Javier Avenue, two of them raised high, as well as the detection line of three meters located at the intersection of the La Palma road.

In Los Beatos the pedestrian crossing will be painted, the triangles on the access ramp and the two detection lines of Guardamar Street.

Five performances will be held in La Puebla on Calle Marqués de la Ensenada, which correspond to the four pedestrian crossings along the route, as well as the two detection lines located next to the old furniture factory.

This project will be put out to tender for a value of 1,700 euros in the portal of the Profile of the Employer of the municipal website in the coming days.
