The Councilor for Youth has congratulated the members of the training "for their good work, for their effort" and "for their work to endow Cartagena with a symphony orchestra" that the city "deserves" and has taken advantage of to invite Go to the concert to all the Cartagena and who wants to approach.

"We are sure that with its quality it will really get very far," he commented.

For his part, Álvaro Valdesueiro, has indicated that since the organization have prepared a magical evening in which they have invested more than 5,000 euros for the total enjoyment of their audience.

"With this concert, we not only want to celebrate our first anniversary, but also a year of faithful follow-up of our audience, their warm welcome and unconditional support. We also wanted to take the opportunity to bid farewell to our great friend and colleague Juan Francisco Otón, The great pianists of the Region, who will play as soloist pianist with us before leaving for the United States to do his master's degree in interpretation, "said the president of the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena.

"For me it is a pride to be able to belong to the orchestra and to participate in one of the programs and in this project," said Juan Francisco Otón.

"What better way to say goodbye to a city where I have lived so much and I have so many memories, than one of the greatest concerts that exist for piano," he said.

The Young Symphony Orchestra of Cartagena (JOSCT) was born in 2016 in order to provide shelter to all young performers who seek to expand their musical training, serving as a symphony orchestral ensemble practice while responding to the demand of Cartagena's musical leisure classic.

Last June, a collaboration agreement was signed with the City Council whereby JOSCT became the official institution of cultural offer of the Cartagena City Council.

Under this signature was destined an endowment of 10,000 euros for the musical grouping and the transfer of the youth center of Canteras as a rehearsal venue, and in turn JOSCT promised to offer five concerts in 2017.
