The National Festival of Folklore in the Region of Cartagena celebrates its big day next Saturday 8 July.
The day will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a cultural visit to Cartagena of the participating groups.
At 20:30 hours will be the reception to the groups attending the House of Folklore of La Palma.
At 22:00 hours will be held the evening of the Folk Festival, which will perform the Children's Folklore Group 'Santa Florentina' of La Palma, the Folk Group 'City of Cartagena' La Palma-Cartagena, the Association of Choirs and Dances 'Juéllega Extremeña' from Valencia de Alcántara (Cáceres), 'Virgen de los Peligros' Choruses and Dances from Aljucer (Murcia) and the Folkloric Association 'Lembranzas Galegas' from Vigo.
This act of closure of the festival will be attended by the mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón.
