The goal is "to enjoy doing the three sports modalities of triathlon: running, swimming and cycling in a school where they promote the high values that the sport transmits," Segado said.

The mayor stressed that, based on the educational and training in the sport that develops the Council that runs, "we will collaborate in the implementation of this interesting sports project for the 2017-2018 season."

In this way, has ensured that it is a school "that will accommodate all children who want to enjoy and educate themselves in sport through triathlon."

For this, the club has a team of professionals specialized in each of the three disciplines that make up this sport, such as Paco Giraldos, Pedro Antonio Riquelme and Rocío Cuenca, in athletics;

Juan Nieto, in swimming;

And Ernesto Montoya, on cycling.

Children and young people train for three days a week, so each session is dedicated to one mode.

The Mandarache Triathlon School develops its activity, three times a week, in different spaces such as the Speed Circuit, where cycling is practiced;

The pool of Colegio Miralmonte, in which they practice swimming, and the urban circuit in Santa Ana, for the preparation of the race on foot.

In this way, a weekly training is dedicated to each discipline.

The young athletes are already competing, said Nieto, and they begin to reap "very good results".

In addition, he stressed that the monitors "are making the children have a great time in training."

Finally, he emphasized that "doing a sport is difficult, and doing three is much more" but "we are getting ahead and hopefully we continue to grow."

For his part, José Antonio Pérez has said that "this is a different project, we promote values and that the child does not stop doing sports because of competition problems or frustrations."

He assured that they feel "very proud" of the children who are forming in the School of Triathlon by "the interest by the sport and its smiles in each training".
