The Library brings this Friday El Porvenir to Ramon Alonso Luzzy (22/06/2017)

The Assembly Hall of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center will host a new screening of the Ficemoteca on Friday, June 23, which will bring the film 'The Future' by the French director and director Mia Hansen-Løve.

The event, which is part of the program of the International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC), has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena through the Department of Culture, Education and Equality.

It will start at 20.00 hours and has free admission until capacity is completed.

It tells the story of Nathalie, played by the actress Isabelle Huppert, who plays a philosophy teacher who teaches at an institute in Paris.

His work excites him and spends his time among his students and his family, with his older children and his somewhat senile mother.

One day her husband confesses that she is going away with another woman, the first of a series of great changes that will force Nathalie to reinvent her life from one day to the next.

Mia Hansen-Løve is, in spite of her youth, one of the most outstanding figures of independent French cinema.

He began writing in Cahiers du Cinéma and, for that reason, his works show the influence of Éric Rhomer and of the Nouvelle Vague, although with a more contemporary vision of the personal and social relations.
