The model of Cartagena of the eighteenth century is presented this afternoon (14/06/2017)

This Wednesday, June 14, the model of the illustrated Cartagena, from the XVIII century, is officially presented and can be visited and seen in the Military History Museum of Cartagena, located in the Artillery Park.

The event, which will take place at 19:30 hours, will feature the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, José López, and the councilman of the Area of ​​Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado.

The scale model was made on a scale of 1: 700 based on a map of Juan José Ordovás from the 18th century.

This is a work of the members of the Association of Friends of the Military Museum of Cartagena, as the retired engineers of Bazán, José Palencia, Juan Luis Torras, José Luis García and José Antonio Pino;

Retired art teacher Juan Gris;

And the professor of retired history, Jose Antonio de las Heras Millán.
