The Hispania school takes the first place of the II Contest of Road Education Circula by bike with security (12/06/2017)

The Hispania school has won the first place of the II Competition of the Road Education Program 'Cycle safely', which has celebrated its final phase this Monday, June 12.

At the event, which took place at the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy, has been chaired by the mayor of Cartagena, José López;

For his part, the Councilor for Citizen Safety has agreed with the mayor on the importance of this type of initiatives and has highlighted the work of the School of Road Education to raise awareness of students in 5th grade Primary Education, course in the That develops this contest, "so that they are good pedestrians and future good drivers".

This course, about 2,500 children from 55 schools and institutes of the municipality have received classes on road education from four monitors.

Thus, the council has emphasized the importance of this type of training from the earliest age to enable them to know the signs and rules of road circulation.

The four teams participating in this final have each been composed of six students.

The competition has started at 10 am and at 11:30 am, the closing ceremony and awards ceremony took place.

Thus, each member of the winning team has received a bicycle, helmet, bracelet and cap, delivered by the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC), and a certificate in which they can obtain the circulation permit of the AM - Mopeds, donated by Autoescuela San Francisco de Asís;

While the second, third and fourth ranked components have each received a helmet and bracelet.
