The mayor of Cartagena, José López, held a meeting on Monday in the administrative building of San Miguel, with representatives of the Official College of Architects of the Region.
In particular, the Dean-President, Rafael Pardo, Vice-Dean, María José Peñalver, and the 1st member of the Board of Governors of this institution, José Manuel Chacón, attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues relating to different projects on the Accessibility Commission and the needs of the College in relation to the administrations under the competences of each one have been addressed.
Likewise, details of the XI Conference between the General Council of the Judiciary and the Superior Council of the Official Associations of Architects of Spain (CGPJ-CSCAE) have been presented to López, to be held in Cartagena on 5, 6 and 7 October.
The first mayor has picked up these issues and has indicated to the representatives of the Official College of Architects of the Region that they will be analyzed and attended through the corresponding channels.
CARTAGENA, FIRST HEADQUARTERS OF THE REGION
Cartagena will become the first city in the Region to host these Days, which among its main objective are the exchange of experiences among judges, magistrates and architects throughout Spain in conflicts related to architecture, building or land management, between other issues.
Likewise, it is intended to carry out an analysis of the legislative, technical and legal interpretation on the said matters, at the same time as it intends to make proposals about the expert function of the architects.
In this regard, José López has assured that it is an honor for the city to host this important congress that is celebrated on a biennial basis and that will bring together outstanding legal figures and the field of architecture.
In this sense, the first mayor thanked the organizers for trusting in Cartagena as the site of the XI edition of these Days, and added that from the municipal government will offer all the support and collaboration to offer the best image of The city to those who visit it.
PROGRAM
The program of the Conference will start on the 4th, prior to the official opening, where guided tours will be made to various tourist attractions of the city.
The next day, the congress will begin, where the presence of, among other personalities, the Minister of Justice is expected.
In this way, the Conferences will include lectures on different topics, round tables and colloquia.
