The ADLE closes its main labor and training programs (31/05/2017)

On Wednesday, May 1, the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE) has closed some of its main work and training programs, such as Conecta to prepare for the tests to obtain the title of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), Barrios ADLE that combines theoretical and practical training to work in the area of ​​residence, or the Erasmus + program, which has allowed students in the courses of the hospitality industry of the ADLE to carry out their internship abroad.

Thus, the deputy mayor of Cartagena and president of the ADLE, Ana Belén Castejón, has moved this Wednesday to the Training Center of Quarries, where he has delivered the diplomas to students who have participated in the program Conecta.

The students have attended a class in this center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9.30 to 13.30 hours, to prepare the test to obtain the ESO title, which will be this Saturday, June 3.

"The students of the Conecta program make a great effort to re-study and prepare for the ESO test that is celebrated next Saturday," explained Ana Belén Castejón.

During the presentation of diplomas, the deputy mayoress wished the students a lot of luck, "although I am convinced that you will not have any problem to pass this examination because you have received a great training from your tutors" since "thank you all For your efforts and you know that you have the Local Development Agency and Employment at your service to continue improving your training.

In addition, this Wednesday was the closing ceremony of the program Barrios ADLE, which has been carried out during the last three months in the Urbanización Mediterráneo and San Antón neighborhood.

The program, which has involved 10 people, has the objective of carrying out occupational training activities both theoretical and practical in the field of urban maintenance for the unemployed.

Ana Belén Castejón thanked the monitor the group, Bienvenido Ramírez, for their work and support during the duration of the program, and encouraged the participants to register with the ADLE Placement Agency to receive advice on obtaining a job .

At the same time, he reminded them of the career guidance options offered by the Local Development and Employment Agency.

Finally, the Deputy Mayor has received the students from the courses of the hospitality industry of the ADLE who have participated in the Erasmus + program, which has allowed them to carry out a mobility program and to carry out the training practices, two months in duration , In the Portuguese city of Braga.

The students, recently graduated in the courses of Cuisine and Restaurant and Bar, have participated in the project which has a budget of 29,900 euros and has allowed them to have a scholarship that covered the trip, accommodation, a language preparation course , Business search, tutoring practices and pocket money.

The practices have been carried out in different companies associated with the program, such as the Social and Cultural Center of Santo Adriao, Centro Novais e Sousa and Casa do Professor Restaurant.

"I am convinced that you have been able to take advantage of this opportunity," said the deputy mayor, who has wished "good luck from now on and you soon find a job" and encouraged them to join the ADLE placement agency "to Expand your labor options ".

The Erasmus + program is aimed at newly graduated students who have obtained a Certificate of Professionalism managed by the ADLE and aims to carry out internships in companies from the European Union and the sector of the degree obtained during the training.
