Mama I want to be feminist is presented in the Luzzy (29/05/2017)

On Tuesday, May 30th at 8:00 pm in the Josefina Soria Library of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center, the writer Carmen García de La Cueva will present her book 'Mamá quiero ser feminista'.

An activity that fits within the program Read Think Imaginar organized by the Council of Culture of the city council in collaboration with the Network of Municipal Libraries, and which will also include the writer and psychoanalyst, Lola López Mondéjar and the coordinator of the Department, M .ª José Mercader.

The event will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martinez.

Mama, I want to be a feminist, illustrated by Malota, who reflects on her drawings of strong and forceful women. She collects the experiences of an enterprising thirty-year-old who, since the creation of her literary web The Tribe, has become an active cultural enabler.

In this book, the author pays homage to her referents, from Virginia Woolf to Pippi Longstockers or Virginie Depentes, to Simone de Beauvoir or Jane Austen.

Carmen G. de La Cueva was born in a small town in Seville in 1986. She has a degree in Journalism and postgraduate in Literature compared by the University of Seville, where she specialized in the discourse of memory in the current European narrative.

He has held academic stays with fellowships at the University of Braunschweig (Germany), the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the Spanish Embassy in Prague and the Instituto Cervantes in London.

She collaborates with Ahora Semanal, and since 2014 she has been directing the Tribu de Frida, a virtual community dedicated to literature written by women.

He has also founded Lady Dalloway, a feminist publishing house
