The mayor of Cartagena, José López, attended this Saturday, May 27, at the Eucharist and Besamano to the images of the Virgin of the four Charlemagne Brotherhoods, which crowded the church of Santa Maria de Gracia.

The Eucharist, which was presided over by the vicar of Cartagena, José Abellán, and began at 19.30 hours, was attended by the Coral Mass Tomás Luis de Victoria.

During the besamanos, which lasted until 22.00 hours, were present the images of the Virgin of the Solitude of the Consuelo, of the Confraternity of the Socorro;

Of the Virgin of the First Sorrow, of the California Brotherhood;

Of the Virgin of the Solitude, of the Brotherhood Marraja;

And of the Virgin of Beautiful Love, of the Brotherhood of the Risen One.

After the liturgical celebration, the first mayor attended the dinner of twinning of the four groups, which took place in the restaurant La Cartuja, around 22.30.
