Pop and surrealist art in the Subjective Room (23/05/2017)

The Subjective Room of the City of Cartagena will host the 'Popsurr' exhibition on Thursday 25 May, where the Pablo Picasso artist fuses surrealism with pop art, based on works by Picasso, Dalí, Velázquez, Warhol or Goya, among others, with colorful colors and a style of comic.

The inauguration will take place at 19 hours, with the assistance of the artist, representatives of Apices, the councilor of Culture, Heritage, Youth and Sports, Ricardo Segado, and the Minister of Family and Equality, Violante Tomás.

In this exhibition, the visitor will be able to see works that, inspired by reality, are cast in one piece, with natural landscapes, emblematic urban architectures, invented heroes, flesh and blood people and all kinds of disparate elements that come together to form To an exhibition full of vivid colors perfectly harmonized.

The works are made using two techniques: digital retouching of freehand design and canvas in acrylic.

In POPSURR are reflected the dreams and fantasies that the artist shares to add a little color to our reality.

It will be exposed from May 25 to June 30.
