The Night Illustrated brought to Cartagena the magic of culture, art and entertainment (21/05/2017)

Tens of thousands of people joined yesterday in Cartagena to commemorate the International Day of Museums, through the so-called Night of Museums and this year has been dedicated to the Enlightenment.

It was a long day, which began in the morning with a multitude of activities for all audiences that were developed in 26 museums in the city and 19 spaces in the street.

The open and prolonged opening of museums and interpretation centers, from eight in the afternoon to two in the morning, were added, concerts in the squares, screening of documentaries, theater, dance, tours for exhibitions, activities especially dedicated To the smallest, salsa, and endless events of all artistic branches.

Also from the morning we were able to tour the city through the various theatrical routes and guided tours prepared for the occasion and which allowed the most curious to discover mysteries and stories of our city, walk through the deepest roots of the Campo de Cartagena, Or soaking in the Cartagena Illustrated that invaded the historic center.

For the more than 180 events scheduled for this event, new spaces were added this year to enjoy activities such as Calle Medieras, Air Street, Honda Street, Carlos III Wall, among others.

Relevant were the performances of Don Sax, who enlivened the evening at Casa Dorda;

The Posados ​​Ilustrados in the Wall of Carlos III, the Dance of Librados in the courtyard of the CIM and the closing of the groups Fyzzy Soup and Ayoho, in the Quay of Alfonso XII.

A castle of fireworks, at two in the morning, put the note of color at the close of this ninth edition.
