The municipal workers retired in the last year receive their recognition plaques from the mayor. The event, on the occasion of the celebration of Santa Rita, has also had the assistance of the Councilor for Finance and the Head of Human Resources (19/05/2017)

This Friday, May 19, a score of municipal employees who have achieved their retirement during the last year have received from the hands of the mayor, José López, recognition plates for their years of service in the City of Cartagena.

The event, which took place in the Hall of Ceremonies of the Palace Hall, has also counted on the assistance of the Councilor for the Area of ​​Finance, Interior and Security, Francisco Aznar, and Human Resources Chief, Emilia Garcia.

The first mayor thanked the honorees for his years of dedication and service to the municipality and the Cartagena, while ensuring that even if they have already left their jobs, "can not stop being part of the family of the City of Cartagena ".

In the same vein has expressed Aznar, who has wished them enjoy in this new stage of their lives.

Among those retired, Jose Rosique Baldo, a school group concierge, leaves the City Hall after 43 years of uninterrupted service and, with 40 years of service, Local Police corporal Francisco Pastor and local police officer Fulgencio Cánovas.

One by one, the retirees have received the congratulations of the mayor and the mayor of Hacienda, Interior and Security.

MONDAY CLOSE ADMINISTRATIVE DEPENDENCIES

Thus, the sixth Grand Prix of Kart in Las Tejeras, in which the municipal workers will compete, will be inaugurated last Tuesday of the exhibition of painting, sculpture, models and photography in the Municipal Archaeological Museum.

This Friday, May 19th, there will be a 7-a-side football championship at the Gómez Meseguer¿ soccer field, starting at 16:30.

On Monday 22 May, a morning motorcycle route will be held through the Campo de Cartagena with a visit to Jade Motor facilities.

At 20 hours a Mass will be officiated in the "Parish of the Castrense de Santo Domingo", which will follow a concert in the Plaza de San Sebastián by the musical group Nuestra Señora de La Soledad.

On Tuesday May 23 will be held a championship of bowling and bowling Cartagena in the municipal bowling field Ussel de Guimbarda next to the sports hall, from 17 hours.

On Wednesday, May 24, a talk on Healthy Eating and Alternative Therapies will be offered by Germán Peidro Martínez at the Hall of the Youth House at 6:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. will be held at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy the 1st Municipal Talent Contest, in which employees and their direct relatives can show their artistic skills.

On Thursday 25th May a Flamenco Recital will take place in the cafeteria "Piku¿ (Calle Carlos III), from 19:30 to 22 hours.

The activities will conclude on Friday, May 26 with a dinner-dance in the Jardin de Los Molinos Marfagones, starting at 9.30 pm.
