The Employment Forum connects companies and candidates in Cartagena (09/05/2017)

The event includes lectures on effective job search techniques and roundtables with human resources managers

Today, the Employment Forum favors the professional contact of companies with unemployed students, students and professionals from all sectors, who come to this annual event in search of an opportunity to work in the Industrial Engineering School of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). First job or a better job.

The forum is organized by Fundación Universidad Empresa, through its ENAE business school, and has the collaboration of the University of Murcia (UMU) and the UPCT, as well as the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF).

On May 11 a similar edition will be held at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UMU.

SEF Director General Alejandro Zamora and University Managing Director Juan Monzó visited the Employment Forum today.

Zamora stressed that "this is a reference event, because the attendees can not only run for positions in those companies that are interested, but also acquire an orientation and an accurate notion of the current panorama in the workplace."

In the course of the day, complementary activities are held to this contact between entrepreneurs and candidates, such as conferences on the most effective methods to find employment, or round tables with human resources managers from different companies.

In addition, the participants know firsthand what profiles the labor market demands in the Region today, and what specific training is required to access those positions.

They also have the possibility of arranging job interviews with human resources managers.
