Carthaginians and Romans celebrate the Mid-Year Festero with talks, concerts, a night race, children's games and an awards ceremony (21/04/2017)

The Federation of Troops and Legions of Carthaginians and Romans celebrates the Mid-Year Festero these days with a series of activities including talks, presentations, live music concerts, a night race, children's games and storytelling.

Thus, during this week, three talks were held, framed within the Mid-Year Festero Cultural Week, in the Auditorium of the Roman Theater Museum on themes such as Qart Hadast, sculpture in Cartagena during the century of the Enlightenment or The evolution of tourism in Cartagena from the Carthaginians and Romans.

Already this weekend, the activities continue in the Plaza San Francisco.

On Saturday, April 22, the day will begin with the opening of the events and the presentation of the children's characters, after which will continue a storytelling session and children's games.

After the food and tapas around the square, the presentation of the adult characters and the concert of 'High Tension' will arrive at 17.30.

At night, at 8:30 p.m., the Arx Asdrubalis night race begins, and at 10:00 p.m. there will be a concert by Mr. Robinzon.

On Sunday, the activities will begin at 10.00 am with a mock traffic accident, which will be followed by children's games, inflatable castles and pintacaras.

The closing of activities will be at 13.30 with the presentation of awards in which will be attended by the mayor of Cartagena, José López, and the concert of jazz and soul of the formation 'Soul Side Duo
