The final two phases of the guitar modality of the XX edition of the classical music competition for young performers of the Region of Murcia were held last Thursday, April 6 at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.
The guitarists selected for the final of the same day were Pedro Ridao Nacarro, from the conservatory of Lorca;
Erik Stevens Rueda Briceño, from the Caravaca Conservatory;
Jesús Cabrera Hernández and Antonio Molina García, from the Cartagena Conservatory;
And Antonio Martínez Mangas and Carmen María Mateo Olmos, from the Murcia Conservatory.
The winners in this modality will be known in the Closing Ceremony and prize presentation of the competition, which will be held in the auditorium "El Batel" on May 12 at 8 pm.
The jury was presided over by Isabel María Martínez Garrido, accompanied by the head of the Department of Youth María José Martínez Segado, as secretary.
In addition the members Ignacio Portillo Alcalde and Paola Requena Toulouse participated.
After Easter, the rest of the competition will take place, corresponding to the following dates:
Final wind wood: Tuesday 18 April
Final metal wind: Wednesday, April 19
Final Chamber Music: Thursday, April 20
Piano Final: Monday, April 24
End of the line: Tuesday 25 April
Flamenco Final: Wednesday, April 26
