The Councilor for Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martín del Amor, attended the coordination meeting on refugees, where the Employment and Training Service (SEF) presented the Protocol of Collaboration between the Community Autonomous and non-profit organizations to promote intermediation, job placement and accompaniment of the group of asylum seekers and refugees.
At that meeting, the protocol and measures and actions to improve opportunities to promote the socio-occupational integration of the refugee collective, including employment, advice and information, individual orientation, access to Training among others.
The mayor Carmen Martín has indicated the importance of working in a coordinated way with the institutions involved and the entities, putting in value the work that the City of Cartagena has been carrying out in a coordinated way with the entities that work with this area and that bet by the Coexistence, intercultural dialogue, positive management of diversity and the fight against racism and xenophobia, and which has recently been fruitful by launching the Network for the Reception and Integration of Refugees of the Municipality of Cartagena.
