This Wednesday morning, the Councilor for Youth, Ricardo Segado, participated in the presentation of the fifth edition of the Salón del Manga and the Japanese culture 'Cartagena reManga', which has taken place in the Hall of Degrees of the UPCT.
The event will gather on May 6 and 7 to 10,000 people in the facilities of the Technical School of Engineering (ETSI) that will enjoy the 200 activities scheduled.
During the event, the head of Students and University Extension of the UPCT, Miguel Díaz, the director of the Salón del Manga, Antonio Álvarez, and the director general of Cultural Industries, Marta López, also participated.
EVENT REFERRED TO NATIONAL LEVEL
The mayor has assured that the Manga Salon of Cartagena has become, "thanks to its impeccable organization and diversity of activities, in a referent at national and local level in the dynamization of leisure and youth culture."
In the same way, Segado congratulated the organizers and thanked the collaboration of the institutions that, like the City Council, cooperate to make possible this initiative that for the fifth year will congregate thousands of people in Cartagena, "which adds a value to Tourist level ".
ACTIVITIES AND TICKETS
Attendees of the fifth edition of the Manga Salon of Cartagena will be able to enjoy the wide range of activities that have been prepared by the organizers, among them the Cosplay contest, talks, workshops, stages and exhibitions.
To attend, the price of tickets will be 10 euros for the two days acquiring them previously, as well as 6'5 euros for the day on Saturday and 5 ', 5 euros for Sunday.
These can be purchased in advance at the different authorized points of sale or the same day of the event at the ticket offices.
