The Local Government Board, meeting this morning with extraordinary character, has agreed that the Councilor for the Quality of Life Area, Francisco Calderón, temporarily assume the substitution of the director general of Urbanism and as long as no new general coordinator of Sustainable Development .

Francisco Calderón will be in this way to assume temporarily the powers that were delegated by the Governing Board in the general director of Urbanism and be the one who signs among other issues the granting of licenses.

Initially the substitution system had been established in favor of the general director of Infrastructures, while a general coordinator of the Area was not named, which according to the mayor, José López, have opposed municipal groups.

So it has been decided that it is the Councilor for Quality of Life who assumes them, given that in addition that his office is adjacent to the one that has the mayor in the Department of Sustainable Development.
