The Burglary Group of the Cartagena Police Station, arrested six children, five of them of Moroccan origin and one Spanish.

The National Police has managed to detain a group of minors, with an adult of age, who had perpetrated a total of five burglaries at home by the "escalo" procedure.

The events go back to last February, when a series of burglaries were detected at home with the common denominator of the procedure, by scaling, the height of the chosen floors and the area of ​​action, namely, Barrio Peral and Ensanche.

Initiated the first investigations by the Group of Robberies of the Police of Cartagena, it was possible to detect the participation in these criminal acts of a group of people, at least six, all minors except one of them that could act as a receptacle of the objects Stolen

In this way, and after obtaining all the necessary indications, the agents began the dripping of arrests, proceeding to the arrest of two brothers, and their three friends, all of them of Maghreb origin, and a sixth native of Cartagena.

All juvenile detainees, accompanied by their parents, acknowledged their participation in the events, except for adults, who denied any authorship.

With their confessions, the investigators proceeded to recover some of the stolen effects, not sold in the illicit market, even finding a guitar that had been stolen from the interior of one of the homes hidden in a thicket.

Detainees who lack police records, except for the age of majority, were placed at the disposal of the juvenile prosecutor and the adult at the disposal of the Court of Guard.

With this operation of the National Police, which includes the arrest last week of a multireincident individual accused of seven burglaries at home, the strong police device for the eradication of such crimes in the area of ​​the Ensanche and Barrio Peral .
