Theatrical debate Dramaturgy today and here to celebrate World Theater Day The round table, to be held this Thursday, March 23 at the Hall of the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy, is included in the programming of Read, Think, Imagine (22/03/2017)

Included in the activities of World Theater Day to be held in Cartagena, this Thursday, March 23 will take place at 20.00 a round table under the motto "Dramaturgy today and here" in the Hall of Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy in collaboration with the Arts Platform of the region of Cartagena.

This debate, programmed within the cycle "Read, think, imagine", organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, will feature the playwright Fulgencio M. Lax, accompanied by writers Juan Montoro, Raquel Pulido, María Alarcón and Diana M. Paco.

The debate aims to bring the performing arts to the audience as a powerful knowledge tool, and creating spaces for coexistence and communication.

Through this round table, moderated by the stage director Antonio Saura, will talk about the role of drama in the Region of Murcia, along with the various characteristics of regional playwrights, which link with national and international trends from the content And aesthetics.

In addition, the deep convulsions and social transformations that are being reflected in art in general, and theater in particular, will be discussed.

The playwright Fulgencio M. Lax will bring his experience in the world of the performing arts.

Of its last theatrical productions it emphasizes "The cycle of the theater of the death", that is united to an endless of dramaturgical works.

Juan Montoro Lara has a long formation in studies of interpretation, dramatic writing, script and cinematographic realization.

Author, also, of numerous plays, books and children's poetry and stories.

Raquel Pulido, graduated in Drama and Dramatic Direction from the School of Dramatic Art of Murcia, is the author of numerous works selected in various national and international literature contests.

In addition will participate the professional actress María Alarcón, author of plays that combine interpretation with the direction of stage plays of medium duration.

Diana M. de Paco is currently Coordinator of Culture at the University of Murcia.

In her work as a theater writer, she has more than 30 published works and several awards.

Attendance at the round table "Dramaturgy today and here" is free and open access, until completing capacity.
