The Mayor of Cartagena, José López, participated this Sunday, March 12, in the celebration of the Day of the Elders of La Palma, an act framed in the patron saint festivities of this town, which also had the presence of the dignitaries of Quality Of Life and Social Services, Francisco Calderón and Carmen Martín, respectively.

Thus, the celebration consisted of a meal in the restaurant El Palmeral, which was attended by about 300 associates who took the opportunity to pay a tribute to the former president of the Association, Elías Martínez Hernández, who has replaced in the position Carmelo Martínez Muñoz.

In addition, during the same, different trophies were presented to the winners of the championships celebrated during the celebrations of La Palma in honor to its patron saint, Santa Florentina.
