The Pavilion Wsell de Guimbarda hosts the XXXVII School Competition of Rythmic Gymnastics Ensembles (02/03/2017)

The Municipal Pavilion Wsell de Guimbarda will host next March 16 and 23, from 16.00 hours, the XXXVII School Competition of Sports Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will involve more than 1,000 gymnasts, and which is part of the program of Sports School organized by the City of Cartagena through the Department of Sports in collaboration with the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Community.

The objective of this sporting event, in which all the students of the municipal school groups will participate, is to motivate the daily learning and to take advantage of the educational values ​​that emerge from the competition, considering that the sport practice is an essential component Of the integral formation of the children.

Thus, a total of 23 schools and around 90 teams will participate every day, with more than one thousand gymnasts between the ages of 4 and 17 of the whole municipality, led by 27 trainers.

The categories that will participate are pacifiers;

Prebenjamín and benjamín, with free hands;

Fry, with ball and hands free;

Infant, with hoops;

Junior, with ball and rope;

And senior, with clubs and hoops.

The participating teams belong to pavilions such as the Wsell of Guimbarda, Barrio Peral, San Antón, Canteras, Los Dolores, Jiménez de la Espada, El Algar, La Palma, El Albujón, Molinos Marfagones, La Manga-Playa Paraiso, La Manga San Javier And Cabo de Palos, as well as the Marist, Salesian, Da Vinci-Belones, Narval, Gabriela Mistral, Our Lady of Loreto-San Javier, José María Lapuerta, San Cristobal, Miralmonte and La Unión.
