The Community details the young people of Cartagena the 'zero quota' for new self-employed and the courses of Youth Guarantee (15/02/2017)

Through 'zero quota' the Community fully assumes payment to the Social Security of the first year of the young person as a self-employed

The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, through the Employment and Training Service (SEF), today held an information day at the facilities of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Cartagena (AJE) to publicize its members, as well As well as the young people of the region, the new 'zero quota', launched by the Community to promote entrepreneurship among young people enrolled in Youth Guarantee.

Likewise, information was provided on the 250 job training courses specifically scheduled during 2017 for this group.

The director general of the SEF, Alejandro Zamora, explained during the day the advantages offered by both initiatives, raised as "measures against youth unemployment."

Specifically, 'zero quota' is focused as a 'push' for those young people who want to launch a business idea, while the Youth Guarantee courses offer students a training in most cases certified, which greatly increases their Options to find a job.

'Zero quota' allows the beneficiary, always under the age of 30 and enrolled in Juvenile Guarantee, not to pay during the first year as an autonomous social security contributions of the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA), since the Community Assumes that payment in full.

In addition, the young person will enjoy a flat rate of 50 euros per month during the second year.

Likewise, a unique aid is included at the beginning of the young person's activity, which varies between 2,500 and 3,500 euros depending on the group to which he belongs.

Thus, if the beneficiary is a woman, the aid is 3,000 euros, and if it is a person with a disability or is at risk of social exclusion, it is 3,500 euros.

Alejandro Zamora stressed that "we want to support the entrepreneurial initiative and the talent of the young people of the Region who having a business idea need support in their beginnings. So that their concern is not how to pay the autonomous monthly fee, but how to make it more viable His project, future germ of many jobs ".

3,800 places in youth training courses

For their part, training courses for young people enrolled in Youth Guarantee will be developed throughout the year and make available to the young Murcia 3,800 places, thanks to the 7.9 million euros of subsidy of the Community, with the cofinancing of the European Social Fund.

The training activities are centered in four areas: obtaining certificates of professionalism, languages, information and communication technologies (ICT) and the promotion of entrepreneurship.

The aim is to offer the registered Youth Guarantee a training appropriate to their profile, in line with the needs of companies, and in this way achieve their sustainable integration in the labor market.

Thus, in the municipality of Cartagena will be taught in the remainder of February four courses, which still have places.

On February 20, a course of 'Office' and another one of 'Electrical assembly operations' began, both taught by the Local Development Agency of Cartagena.

In addition, on the 27th starts a training action in 'English A2' and the next day another 'Office' course is launched.
