Cartagena Local Police officers assigned to the Quality of Life Unit, yesterday rescued yesterday in the neighborhood of Los Dolores, two dogs cubs that allegedly had been victims of animal abuse.

The intervention was made thanks to the collaboration of citizens.

The puppies were recognized by a veterinarian as they had symptoms of possible maltreatment.

Local Police agents have investigated these events, in addition to the death of three other dogs, allegedly because of animal abuse
