The mayor of Cartagena, José López, received on Saturday February 4 the 59 elderly people from the municipality of Lorquí, in a trip organized by the Council of the Mayor in collaboration with the Association Path to Humanism and Educational Science of the same locality Murcia
The reception was held in the Palace Hall at noon and the same was also the mayor of Lorquí, Joaquín Hernández and the president of the Association Path to Humanism and Educational Science, Antonio Verdú.
After being received by José López, the elders of Lorquí toured the different rooms of the old town hall, where they learned from the guides' mouths the history of their walls, handicrafts, furniture and portraits of illustrious figures.
He did not fail to finish the usual group photo on the steps of the palace.
