The ADLE closes its courses of Cuisine and Restoration 2016 in which have participated 29 students (25/01/2017)

On Wednesday, January 25th, the closing ceremony of the two occupational training courses for 'Cocina' and 'Restaurant' Catering was held, in which a total of 29 unemployed students participated.

The courses are part of the training program organized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the European Social Fund, in which the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE) is collaborating to develop training for the unemployed to contribute to The acquisition of competences and professional qualifications of quality that favor their labor insertion.

The closing ceremony was attended by the deputy mayor of Cartagena and the president of the ADLE, Ana Belen Castejón, as well as the manager of the entity, Manuel Mora, have accompanied the training technicians, students and relatives who have attended.

The theoretical classes have been held in the classrooms of occupational training that has the Agency for Local Development and Employment, in the 'La Milagrosa Building'.

At the end of the course the students of both courses have received a certificate of professionalism that will serve to prove the value of the same and that have been delivered Wednesday by the deputy mayor and the manager of the ADLE.

During the event, Castejón showed his pride in the work developed and the motivation that have shown the students of these two courses and recalled that last week was a gastronomic show attended by entrepreneurs of the hotel sector of the area .

"We are happy with these expectations that, hopefully, will culminate," said the deputy mayor, who recalled that, starting in February, the module of professional non-work practices of 80 hours will take place.

In relation to this subject, he has expressed his desire that "they can stay".

And, as President of the ADLE recalled, the Agency for Local Development and Employment is committed to training but with the aim of "also revert to a job."

Thus, as the manager of the ADLE has recalled, both courses comprise levels of certificates of professionalism of level 2, in which the course of 'Cooking' has comprised 810 teaching hours, while the students of 'Restaurant Service' Received 580 hours of training.

The practices, which will begin next February, will be carried out in hotels and catering companies in Cartagena such as Hotel Alfonso XIII, Hotel Prince Felipe, La manga Club, Los Churrascos, Hotel Los Habaneros, La Tartana, LaTapería, La Brasa And Antigua Maestranza.

This part of the courses is focused, according to Mora, so that the students acquire the necessary skills to complete their training and increase their possibilities of insertion in the workplace since "these courses have a high level of insertion" With the deputy mayor, who after the practices "have the possibility to start work and access the labor market."
