The ADLE will train half a thousand people in 30 courses and activities during this year (25/01/2017)

The Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) will train over 500 people this year through some thirty courses and training activities aimed at unemployed people, in order to acquire a higher qualification or new skills in certain professional fields and To promote their insertion in the workplace;

Although courses for active workers will also be offered.

The presentation was made by the Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón and the manager of, Manuel Mora, this morning in the Palace Hall.

Besides the ADLE courses, other training actions such as the Fixed Classroom, the 'Erasmus +' program, the 'Barrios ADLE' program and the 'Conecta' program have also been presented at the event.

All courses are free and are subsidized by the Regional Employment Service and Training and the City of Cartagena and co-financed by the European Social Fund.

This year the offer of courses goes from the 8 of the previous edition to a total of 17 courses.

"This expansion seeks to reach as many people as possible to improve the possibilities of incorporating into the labor market of the unemployed, as well as for the active workers who can be recycled and promoted in their profession," said Castejón .

With regard to training for the unemployed, six courses are offered for persons under the age of 30 enrolled in the National System of Youth Guarantee: 'Social care for people at home', 'Auxiliary operations in electronic facilities',' Administrative management activities , Office ',' Administrative management activities, commercial operations', 'Social-health care for dependents in social institutions' and' Restaurant-Bar service ';

For the unemployed over 35 years of age the course of 'Creation and management of micro-enterprises / Tutorials of business projects' is offered;

And for long-term unemployed over 45 years of 'plumbing and heating-domestic air-conditioning operations'.

Courses open to any age group, as long as the established requirements are met, include this year: 'Kitchen', 'Restaurant service', 'Dynamization of children's and young people's educational leisure activities',' Assembling Auxiliary Operations And Electrotechnical Installations', 'Plumbing and heating-domestic air conditioning' and 'Auxiliary operations of assembly of electrical networks'.

As for the programs for active workers, for which no date has yet been set, there will be 2: 'Online sales' and 'Management of local tourist information'.

All courses will be highly practical and will be given to small groups of up to 15 students each.

The classes will be held in the 'Edificio La Milagrosa' and the Quarries facilities that are usually used for this purpose.

MIXED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

Another year will also be offered the Mixed Programs of Employment and Training, which have a clear purpose of labor insertion of unemployed people through their professional qualification in alternation with the effective work.

This year will be 2 programs: for the people enrolled in Youth Guarantee the "Three Tenedores" program is offered, divided into three specialties of the tourism and catering sector, and open to any unemployed person the 'AIDIS' program that covers the specialties of gardening.

Socio-health care for dependents and socio-educational intervention with people with disabilities.

In total 80 seats will be offered and all participants will be hired during the course in the specialty for which training is received.

The courses will start in March, and will last for one year.

The 'Three Tenedores' program is carried out in collaboration with Caritas Cartagena, and AIDIS will be carried out in collaboration with the IMAS.

This program will also involve the recruitment of 10 people between teachers and administrative staff.

OTHER TRAINING PROGRAMS

At the same hearing, it was reported that this year 10 students from different ADLE training courses will participate in the Erasmus + mobility program, focused on improving the professional training of all of them.

The students will travel to the Portuguese city of Braga in March this year.

In mid-February, it is planned to start the Barrios ADLE program, which offers occupational training in urban maintenance to the unemployed.

On the other hand the Fixed Classroom will carry out during the first semester of this year 3 courses of food manipulator, 1 of basic training in prevention of occupational risks and 1 course in computer management oriented to the company.

Finally, on January 16, the course of the Conecta program for the preparation of the ESO degree in Barrio de Santa Lucía began, coinciding with the official examination in June of this year.

In October, two other groups will begin at the center that uses the ADLE in Canteras
