Completes the Basic Vital Support and Semiautomatic Defibrillation Course DESA in which 45 people participated (20/01/2017)

Today, Friday, January 20, the course 'Basic life support and semi-automatic defibrillation DESA', which has been taught by the School of Public Security of the City of Cartagena (ESPAC), has been completed thanks to an agreement signed with the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, to train the staff of Cartagena sports clubs in the use of defibrillators, and in which a total of 45 people participated.

Thus, this course approved by the Ministry of Health of the CARM has enabled to use defibrillators to non-health personnel, following the goal of the City of Cartagena to make the camps safer and advance in prevention and safety in sports.

There have been two editions, one on 11, 13 and 20 January and another on 16, 18 and 19 January, with a duration of both 12 hours.

These actions are part of the program 'Cartagena City Cardioprotegida', the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena, which pretends that anyone in these spaces can access a defibrillator in less than four minutes, so Makes it necessary to train as many people as possible to achieve this goal.
