The photographer and painter Francisco Hidalgo will inaugurate this Thursday, January 12, his first solo exhibition with the collection titled 'Láminas heridas'.
The presentation ceremony will take place from 19:30 hours in the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy and the same will attend the councilman delegate of Culture, David Martinez.
The exhibition can be visited from that same moment until the 10 of February.
The artist's new work is inspired by the mining past of the Sierra de La Unión and the Campo de Cartagena as well as the significance of this activity for the daily life of the area, whose vestiges - both socially and in the plane More palpable, the physical - can still be perceived today.
Hidalgo brings together in this work the knowledge he has acquired during his various stages of training in disciplines such as photography, painting, drawing and engraving and combines several of these techniques to capture his life experience.
Also, the texts provided by Professor Pedro María Egea complete the pieces that are exposed.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The creator of 'Hurts Prints', Francisco Hidalgo, studied Psychology at the Central University of Barcelona and completed this training with studies of Psychoanalysis.
In the artistic area, he studied photography at the Industrial University of Barcelona and years later he jumped to drawing and painting thanks to a course from the Popular University of Cartagena, where he later specialized in engraving technique.
In addition, he has already participated in various exhibitions with several of his previous works.
Four collective exhibitions - two in the city and two in Cartagena - have hosted some of his works;
Now exposes for the first time solo.
