The director general of Infrastructures of the City of Cartagena, Manuel Nicolás, at the request of the mayor, Jose López, moved to Friday, December 30, to Punta Brava (Los Urrutias) to coordinate and supervise the beginning of the work of adaptation, By the municipal brigades, in this area of ​​the Mar Menor after the temporary suffered in the municipality in recent times.

These actions constitute a necessary reinforcement, executed from the area of ​​Infrastructures, because of the damages caused by the temporary suffered in the south arch of the Mar Menor, works that must realize the municipal services without the contribution of other administrations.

Therefore, the works will be extended in the coming days, without prejudice to the intensive work of adaptation and recovery of the beaches, from Los Urrutias to La Manga, which should be carried out facing the Holy Week dates.
