New IMSEL invoices for 2013 and 2014 worth 46,799.52 euros (13/12/2016)

The Economic Strategy area today reported on the Board of Directors of the Coastal Services Institute (IMSEL) seven new invoices for the years 2013 and 2014 worth 46,799.52 euros.

According to the director of the IMSEL, Ventura Valero, the invoices must have been paid by Infrastructures during the previous term, but were never paid.

The Governing Council was chaired by the Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, who criticized the management of the previous government team, "a month short of the effective dissolution of IMSEL have found new unpaid bills from the previous government Municipal and now we must analyze how and who will face them.

The report has been sent to Intervention and, from both our area and the Treasury, we will try to solve this new sample of the lack of control with which IMSEL was managed, "said Torralba.

With this new finding of unpaid bills, the current government team has reaffirmed that its decision to dissolve the body is the most accurate.

At the meeting this morning also approved the payment of 97,982.34 euros, corresponding to a total of 107 unpaid invoices in 2014 and 2015, under the Plenary agreement of September 29, 2016.

In addition, the Governing Council has reported on the inventory of all IMSEL assets that, from next January 1, 2017, will become part of the City of Cartagena.

In order for the dissolution process to end, it is only necessary that the General Negotiating Board informally inform all municipal unions that the personnel, which until now formed the IMSEL, will become part of the Department of Decentralization.
