Telecartagena cedes to the City Hall its audiovisual archive since 1987 (02/12/2016)

The Local Government Board meeting this morning under the presidency of the mayor, José López, has approved the acceptance of the transfer to the City of Cartagena of a video library with more than 3,600 hours of filming, offered by the commercial ONLYCABLE, SLU Telecartagena.

These are the magnetic tapes in which the audiovisual archive of the cable television network is collected, since its creation in 1987. They contain information programs, reports, social gatherings and interviews of own production, which will be digitized by the City Council and in a Future will be made available to citizens and researchers for viewing and consultation through the Municipal Archive.

NEW VACANCIES IN SANTA FLORENTINA

Among the various matters included in the agenda, in the Economic Strategy Area, the Governing Board has approved the resignation of the holders of two commercial units of the Santa Florentina market, namely those formed by the grouping of posts 89 -90 and 60-61, whose vacancies will be included in the call for the award of posts of this municipal market that is in progress.

BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS

Also, 38,400 euros in the budgets of 2017 for the call for four scholarships of training and specialization in the Area of ​​Promotion and Tourist Information, whose bases will be approved soon;

Other credits authorized by the Government Board have referred to the corresponding for the contracting of the press service, communication and dissemination of the musical, cultural and entertainment activities of the Festival La Mar de Músicas 2017, for the amount of 16,490 euros and another for the recruitment Of the management service and technical coordination of the "Festival La Mar de Músicas", for 40,000 euros.

BEACHES AND RENOVATION OF LIGHTING

Another issue has been the approval of the commitment to include in the draft budget of 2017, the necessary credits for the contracting of the provision of the surveillance and rescue service in Cartagena beaches for 881,000 euros.

RENTAL OF PREMISES

The Governing Board has approved the lease of a premises in the Industrial Park Cabezo Beaza for conservation and custody of archaeological remains for an annual amount of 32,089 euros.

The rental of these facilities is made pending the transfer by the Autonomous Community of the old ships of Contentpolis in Los Camachos, which would be used for this purpose.

Likewise, it has given approval to the lease of another ship in Cabezo Beaza for the realization of handicraft workshops organized by the Department of Equality, for 10,164 euros.

EXTENSION OF MARQUESINA AND ASTEAMUR

The Board of Governors has approved the extension to the commercial company "JS Mobiliario Urbano y Rótulos, SL", awarded the administrative authorization for the maintenance and replacement of the canopies of bus stops, mupis and other urban furniture, as well as its exploitation Advertising, while a new bidding document is being prepared.
