The artists of the associations Asido, Astus Prolam and Apices show during these days their works of craftsmanship and painting in the Palace Molina on the occasion of the events organized by the Department of Social Services for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The inauguration of this exhibition was held on the afternoon of Thursday, December 1, with the presence of the mayor of Cartagena, José López, who addressed a few words to the attendees;
The Councilor for the Quality of Life Area, Francisco Calderón, and the Councilor for Social Services, Carmen Martín, and some of these creators of the various associations.
After the inauguration of the exhibition, performed by these entities of people with intellectual and mental disabilities, there was an interpretation of baroque music by Miguel Alcatud to the harp, blind musician of ONCE Cartagena, and a master class of live modeling with Juan José Quirós.
The exhibition can be visited today, Friday December 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This activity is framed within the commemoration on 3 December of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, where a broad program of activities aimed at the entire population and institutions in the field of disability to contribute to creating an inclusive and accessible society for all .
