A team from the Fire and Rescue and Civil Protection Service of Cartagenase City Council today displaced a fire alert on a vessel docked at the port area of ​​Escombreras on 11 November.

When arriving at the place of the facts the firemen did not visualize the fire because the focus was in the opposite side to the sense of the dock of the ship.

An inspection team has climbed onto the deck of the boat where they have been able to verify that the crew had smothered the fire correctly.

In addition, a tugboat waited in the water in case its action was necessary.

Apparently it was a ship of cattle transport and the animals have not suffered any damage.
