Start Read, Think, Imagine with sunglasses Fortunata cat (13/10/2016)

The first act of reading, thinking, program Imagine, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena, will feature a children's story, the story collection The spectacles Fortunata cat, the work of the author Juana Maria Gonzalez Perez and published Raspabook in publishing.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, October 13, at 20:00 pm in the Library adult Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy of Cartagena.

At the event, besides the author, Elena Córdoba and Eduardo intervene Cañavate, representing the publisher.

The short story collection The spectacles Gata Fortunata it is intended for all those who dream of a world where children are future sensitive citizens, critical, responsible and respectful of themselves, others and their personal and cultural differences, as well as the whole of nature and the beings that compose it.

La Fortunata cat is responsible for helping to understand, through his glasses, the particular look of kindergarten children to his family, friends and classmates.

This cute little cat does reflect on the importance of values ​​education in school in order to contribute to the development and full of children (purpose of the pre-primary education), such as equality, solidarity and environmental education, for peace, for health, for road safety, accident prevention and responsible consumption, among others.

Children will learn these and other values ​​with Fortunata, while enjoy their fun rhyming lyrics in Spanish and English, and their precious children's illustrations.

THE AUTHOR

Juana Maria Gonzalez Perez was born in Cartagena in 1975, is a graduate in Childhood and Primary Education from the University of Murcia.

He holds degree in Early Childhood Education, a Masters degree in Speech Therapy and about a thousand hours as an assistant or coordinator training courses and seminars belonging to the Ministry of Education and Universities of the Autonomous Region of Murcia or approved by it.

It is active vocational teacher since 2000, he has worked most of his teaching at the kindergarten stage, although he has also taught in primary and ESO.

Passionate, too, children's literature and animals, combines these passions in his first work, a collection of short stories entitled The spectacles Fortunata gata with the main objective to encourage and amuse the little ones through reading.

It is transversely values ​​education, to contribute to the integral formation of smaller, future solidary people, respectful of social, cultural and environmental diversity, as well as oneself.
