More than 300 athletes swam in the waters of Cabo de Palos in TimonCap III (11/10/2016)

The TimonCap skirted crossing Cabo de Palos last Sunday, October 9, in its third edition.

A total of 330 participants, including men, women and discapactiados, swam 3.5 kilometers in a sports call that ran without incident, where Alberto Martinez, Áncora Club of Cartagena, was overall winner of the test.

The III TimonCap, organized by the Masters Swimming Club Murcia, with the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, was a success.

With a time of 44 minutes and 54 seconds, Alberto Martinez won first place in the sporting event.

The second ended Jaime Marqués, the CN Toledo, with a time of 46 minutes 50 seconds and finished third Margarita Dominguez, also of Áncora, with 46 minutes and 54 seconds.

They classified the different tests received their awards at a ceremony attended by various authorities as Ricardo Segado Councilman Sports City of Cartagena, Sergio Amat, vice-rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Salvador García, General Director of Coasts and Ports, Francisco Dominguez, president of the Swimming Federation of Murcia, Cristina Aguado, president of the Neighborhood Association of Cabo de Palos, and Maria Jose Montesinos, president of Masters Swimming Club Murcia.
