Citizen groups in the Mar Menor coordinate strategies to promote the image of the lagoon (07/10/2016)

Orange councilmen training in San Javier, Los Alcázares, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena met yesterday at the Palace Hall to analyze and assess actions to strengthen the image of the Mar Menor before the next season and seasonally adjusted their appeal.

The aim is to join efforts in the development of actions that promote tourism in the area for next season.

The meeting was attended by the spokespersons of Citizens in San Pedro del Pinatar, José Luis Ros, San Javier, Antonio Murcia, Los Alcazares, Esperanza Balsalobre, and Cartagena, Manuel Padin, who is also coordinator of the subcommittee three of Citizens comprising marmenorenses to municipalities.

Citizens spokesman also noted that "no doubt the interest and willingness of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture to support this competition, but we think that the involvement of the municipalities of Mar Menor is essential and beneficial for everyone."
