The Belgian ambassador praises infrastructure Cartagena and its contrast between history and modernity (05/10/2016)

The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, received Wednesday's visit Belgian Ambassador to Spain, Pierre Labouverie, who wanted to approach the city in the journey being made these days to know the Region of Murcia.

Pierre Labouverie described the infrastructure that the city as fantastic, highlighting the university and its buildings blend old and modern, in a combination that has Cartagena between history and its modernist buildings.

Now let's see the port authorities to see what can be done as cooperation between Murcia and Belgium, he noted the ambassador with regard to future collaborations, as the country has the largest port in Europe.

The ambassador noted that a fifth of the Belgian population visit Spain annually, and about 800 Belgians living in the Region of Murcia.
