On Friday 30 September, coinciding with the commemoration of the International Day of Older Persons, started the program Sociocultural Hiking organized every year by the Department of Social Services City of Cartagena, with the route La Algameca girl and Arch of Amalia, which it was attended by the mayor, Carmen Martin del Amor, in which over 120 people participated.
Algameca president and Jose Ibarra, author of a book on the Algameca Girl, also made this route in which several stops which was giving information about this curious and quirky place were made.
Up to twelve routes, make up the program of cultural activities hiking which will run until the end of the year.
This activity is aimed at pensioners and retirees over 60 years.
The documentation submitted by interested in accessing this program is the application form, accompanied by a doctor's certificate and identity card, and place of presentation is the Office of Care for Elderly located in La Milagrosa (Tel. 968 128 851 ).
