More industrial doctorates and supporting projects between universities and companies, target of the Polytechnic (28/09/2016)

The rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), Alejandro Diaz, today called on the act of opening Multi-Year Course Financing Plan for Research and Innovation in the Region of Murcia.

Diaz has shown the commitment of the UPCT to innovation through knowledge transfer to businesses and entrepreneurship.

The Rector has called for aid for the promotion of industrial doctorates and university-industry collaborative projects.

The head of the Polytechnic has argued that "public universities have fulfilled the commitment to reduce spending and improve effectiveness and efficiency.

Proof of this is the budget adjustment for the new building of the School of Architecture and Building, which was designed by a quarter (5.5 million) than originally planned seven years ago.

The rector of the Polytechnic has shown its intention that, in the medium term, all centers of the UPCT have an itinerary in English in at least one of their degrees.
