The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, explained this afternoon that the disappearance of Cartagena Puerto de Culturas Consortium, announced by the Autonomous Community shall not affect the operation or the staff of this important tourist brand that brings together the supply of interpretive centers and tourist transport Cartagena.
The statements have been made by Barreiro during their attendance at the inauguration of President of the Social Council of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Juan José Pedroza.
Barreiro noted that the Consortium in the various entities involved was an administrative organization which involved a series of charge and that its original purpose of creating a tourism brand Cartagena Port of Cultures has more than fulfilled.
The work of the Consortium, has made it clear the mayor, will be assumed from now on by society Cartagena Puerto de Culturas, responsible economic management of various resources in their care, disappearing the current duplication.
