The Solidarity Sports IV Battle of the Festival of Carthaginians and Romans sport and solidarity joined last Saturday, September 17, in order to encourage people with disabilities to leisure activities and free time.
The SOI Foundation, promoted by Astus and ASID, along with the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, led to parties Carthaginians and Romans a sporting activity held during Saturday morning on the esplanade of Cartagonova Stadium, next to camp festero, which was attended by the Councillor for Social Services and Social Mediation, Carmen Martin.
Different monitors starred fun choreographies with popular songs and different estilospara that all participants could dance to the rhythm of zumba fitness.
Participants contributed to the cause with an individual contribution of 10 euros, receiving a gift bag and supplies, and participated in a raffle with many gifts.
Besides dancing to the rhythm of zumba, other sports activities took place at the Sports Cabezo Beaza on the same Saturday morning, with a basketball tournament 3x3 had six categories, male and female, divided by age from youngest to senior .
The benefits of both events will be allocated to Cartagena with intellectual disabilities also enjoy their leisure time.
