The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers of the Region of Murcia (Coiterm) signed today a cooperation agreement to strengthen technology transfer to businesses and employability of students.
Students can access scholarship offers and practices that come to the employment exchange College.
"In 2015 we received fifty jobs.
80% were for labor contracts and 75% of them in the region of Murcia, "said the dean of the collegiate institution, Juan Luis Pedroza.
"The delegation of the Association of Telecommunications Engineers that exists in the own School of Teleco UPCT students can obtain information about these and other advantages of the precolegiación, such as participation in professional forums and meetings industry," he adds.
"The College will also work on redesigning the undergraduate and master courses we teach after ANECA accreditation process," said the director of the School of Telecommunication of UPCT, Juan Angel Pastor.
"The aim is to reinforce the proximity between the business sector and the University," he says.
The agreement, signed this morning at the collegiate headquarters and whose signature from the rector of the Polytechnic, Alejandro Diaz, and the dean of the 'Telcos' was also attended by the director general of Universities, Juan Monzó, also includes financing Award best Master's Thesis and holding events like Night of Teleco, where the best ICT developments made by students, graduates and young talents from the region of Murcia are distinguished.
