The City of Cartagena, through the Department of Infrastructure, who heads the mayor, Jose Lopez, has launched an information service to users of the municipal urban transport by lainstalación screens at bus stops, let you know the timeouts different bus lines.
The general director of Infrastructures, Manuel Nicolas, has confirmed that after several months of work and study, has begun testing information screens, it is foreseen that, from September, are inservice at full capacity.
With this system, which includes twenty screens in addition to inform neighbors about waiting periods, sending instant messages on topics of interest are also included according to the municipal criteria relating to parades, roadblocks, works or emergencies and dissemination, in six of those screens, images of the city, offering more information attractions of Cartagena.
The mayor, Jose Lopez, expressed his satisfaction that, with this measure, we continue to advance in the line of work of adaptation and improvement of public services to the needs of citizens.
The screens are located in different parts of Paseo Alfonso XIII;
Alameda de San Anton;
Captains Ripoll;
Mediterranean space and Hospital Santa Lucia.
