La Mar de Letras kicks off on Wednesday with the literary course of Viking runes to the Millenium Saga (11/07/2016)

How could it be otherwise, literature will also be part of the programming of this XXII edition of The Sea Music that has to Sweden as guest country.

The project of La Mar de Letras has specifically literary courses such as academic experts and meetings with the author.

Therefore, they will take a course of contextualization of the current Swedish literature with the intention of providing information and rigorous training on the literature of this country.

This course will be taught by Elda Garcia Posada, translator and expert in Contemporary Literature Swedish, and Wednesday 13 and Thursday July 14 will be held in the CIM from 10.00 to 13.00.

Then on Friday morning 15, they will hand Literature and Art in the guided tour with the poet and artistaAntonio Gómez Ribelles, which will start from the front door of CIM at 10.00 h.

During these two weeks, the general public and people who attend La Mar de Letras as Summer Course UPCT will have the opportunity to listen to some of the best writers of contemporary Swedish crime novel, as Erik Axl Sund, Arne Dahl and Mons Kallentoft, accompanied by presenting category deLara Lopez de RNE and Herralde writer and winner of 2015, Marta Sanz Prize.

In addition, the city will visit the poetry of Nobel 2011 at the recital Rewrite to Tranströmer, in which several local and regional poets presented to the public the poems they have created inspired by the work of the poet, translator and Swedish psychologist.

That same afternoon, Soren Peñalver and poet, translator and member of the RAE Clara Janes will chat about Swedish poetry in the Roman Theatre Museum.

The Molina Palace will host on Thursday 21 at 11.00 h attendees Bazaar Letters to the People's University, who will live a very special encounter with Danny Wattin after reading his novel The Treasure of herr Isakowitz.
